PROTECT THE ISLAND

PROTECT THE ISLAND

Phu Quoc is a rare and special environment. Nam Nghi is committed to preserving the natural habitat and has taken great care through the construction and operation of the resort to be mindful of leaving as small a footprint as possible. The Mong Tay peninsula takes its name from the rare indigenous species of tree found in the area. Our endeavour to preserve this rare botanical artefact is a testament to our commitment to protecting the environment.

ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN

In every possible case Nam Nghi has used natural local materials in the construction of the resort. This adds to the sense of connection to nature and creates a rustic charm while still delivering an indulgent experience for our guests. Chic but understated, Nam Nghi epitomizes island luxury in a true statement of the arrival of Phu Quoc as a globally recognized destination.

PEOPLE

The people of Phu Quoc are almost entirely ethnically Vietnamese. The island’s history also means there are elements of Khmer lineage among some of the population.

Renowned for their friendliness and generosity, the people of Phu Quoc are the island’s greatest asset.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We are committed to building a better world for everyone. The Nam Nghi considers every possible approach to ensure the best service and experience for our guests, local communities and businesses. We are constantly striving to innovate to best develop our property and create sustainable value, as well as address and tackle environmental and social challenges.
